The transgenic core facility is available to provide the investigators of the Molecular Biology Department,
as well as outside investigators, access to transgenic technology. Our main objective is to deliver custom animals
that will enhance the research capabilities of the investigators of the Molecular Biology Department.
The facility is available to assist with all aspects of transgenic animal research including experimental design,
generation of transgenic and/or knockout animals, cryopreservation of animal strains and rederivation of animal stocks.
