Welcome to the Schwarzbauer Lab |
Welcome to the Schwarzbauer Lab home page. Research in our lab focuses on the role of the extracellular matrix (ECM) and integrin signaling in cell adhesion and cell migration. Most of the lab studies fibronectin a major component of the ECM and important integrin ligand.
Just as the ECM is composed of a population of diversely functioning proteins (fibronectin, tenascin, and collagen just to name a few) our lab has multiple projects, including matrix assembly, integrin signaling, and the study of integrins in C. elegans.
Thank you for visiting our home page, and enjoy your journey through the extracellular matrix! |
