My current research involves identifying the tissue-specific transcriptional profiles underlying aging and complex behaviors.
My research focus is to identify new regulators of the Insulin/IGF-1 signaling pathway and to characterize their functions in development, metabolism and age-related processes.
I am interested in identifying conserved regulators of learning and memory and molecules involved in cognitive decline with age.
My research interests lie in the field of neuronal development and plasticity. I have investigated how brain circuits form during development and am examining how neuronal function declines with age.

Mechanisms of (1) reproductive aging, (2) behavioral and physiological post-mating changes, (3) interplay between the sexes
I am interested in how mechanisms of aging contribute to neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
My research interest is mainly focused on performing high-throughput behavioral analyses and drug screening to further our understanding of Parkinson disease.
I am interested in how mating and pheromones affect lifespan and behavior.
My research aims to elucidate the contribution of insulin signaling to the innate immune response.
I am interested in understanding the role the germline may play in regulating longevity and reproduction.
I’m currently researching a human homolog for PQM-1, a transcription factor recently discovered by our lab. PQM-1 is responsible for growth, development, and reproduction.
My research is mainly focused on the regulators of reproductive longevity, regarding both novel genes and relation to known pathways.
I am currently researching sensory mutations increase genetic diversity in the worm population because they cannot properly sense their food/environment.
I'm currently working on a project to potentially identify and characterize reproductive span regulating genes.
I am interested in the relationship between mating, fat loss, and lifespan.
I am working on identifying the genes that regulate C. elegans reproductive lifespan.
