Each year we accept 1-2 junior undergradate MOLBIO major students for JP and senior thesis research in our laboratory.  Please contact Dr. Yibin Kang or Patricia Fox to set up an appoinment to discuss your background and research interest.  Priority for joining the laboratory will be given to students with prior research experience, genuine interest and motivations for cancer research, and excellent grade in relevant courses.  

Research MUST be at the top of your priority after you join the laboratory. Students are required to perform research in the lab in the summer following their junior year.  Your dedication to your thesis research is of vital importance for the success of your independent research and for favorable recommendation for med/grad school application.
