Yuling Hua, a gradaute student in the lab, became the third student in a row from the lab to receive the prestigeous Departement of Defense pre-doctoral fellowship in breast cancer research.  Another student in the department, Wenwen Fan, who is a graduate student in Professor Laura Landweber's laboratory and is co-advised by Yibin Kang, also received the fellowship. Congratulations to Yuling and Wenwen.

The DOD pre-doctoral fellowship is the only predoctoral fellowship available to students who are not US citizen or permanent resident.
